Biography

Jessica King focuses her practice primarily on residential and commercial real estate and workers’ compensation matters.

In Jessica’s real estate practice, she centers her practice on residential and commercial closings, title curative matters, zoning, and other real estate issues, including contract matters, lease negotiations, and other transactional matters. She counsels agents, lenders, builders, purchasers, sellers, and investors on complex real estate transactions, including new and existing home and commercial purchases, sales, refinances, and title issues, from the signing of the contract through the closing of the transaction. With a focus on ensuring that clients receive the best service and experience, she works to ensure that all dealings are informative, pleasant, and engaging for all parties and that clients are informed throughout the process.

In Jessica’s workers’ compensation practice, she fights to ensure that her clients understand and receive all the benefits to which they are entitled. It is her goal to ensure that the liable parties are held accountable, that all possible courses of financial recovery are investigated, and that the maximum amount of compensation is recovered on behalf of her clients. In order to meet these goals, she brings top tier representation, from litigation, including written discovery and depositions, through mediation and trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessica began her legal career representing insurance companies and litigating liability matters in defense of insurance companies. She has handled every aspect of fact and expert discovery, mediations, motions practice, and argument across Georgia courts. Her clients have ranged from small businesses to large corporations. After many years of working in defense, Jessica joined the plaintiff’s side of the practice, and began fighting for individuals injured by the negligence of others. She has since broadened her practice to include transactional matters as well.

Jessica brings a wealth of information and a passion for finding strategic solutions to difficult problems in both her litigation and transactional cases.

Jessica graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Management. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, earning her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2011. While in law school, she also earned her M.B.A. from Samford University. Jessica lives in Marietta with her husband, two sons, and dog.
